Anyone read the book ? Went and saw the movie tonight, can't say much bad about they missed a couple bug parts but its a movie what do you expect, mark whalberg was amazing , and they kept true to most of the book, just seeing anyone else's opinion

I have the book but am going to read it after the movie, that way I'm not critiquing the movie the whole time. I have heard they are both very good though

Movie missed two big things that i noticed but they focused on other points which made up for it, book is amazing tho !

I'm planning on watching this soon

was gonna watch it tonight but i'm going with American Hustle instead. for those who may have seen it, is American Hustle any good?
 
I enjoyed Lone Survivor and plan to get the book..I read a magazine article on the making of the movie and Marcus Luttrel was kind of an on set consultant during filming....I wonder what become of that fellow that risked his and his families lives by taking in and helping Luttrel?

Markus went and visited him so he must be somewhere safe i would think

He actually brought the guy to his home for a visit too but if he is back in that part of the world someone is probably gunning for him.The article I read didn't touch on all of that too much though I wish that it had as I found that guy,and the situation he put himself in,very interesting.
 
I read the book a few years ago and really enjoyed most of it. Looking forward to seeing the movie.
