I am actually down to the final four in my feeder tank with this guy and three other sunfish.Due to the low light location of the tank and my phone I couldn't capture his beautiful coloration.

I touched on that in my opening post...that I actually have four left but I opted to stick with the title..Theses guys were part of a larger batch of sunnies that I caught months ago and were intended to be fed to other fish.Most of my fish are off of live now so I might just keep these and put them in my little pond in my back yard.
Thanks,it's hard to get shots of the others but this one is the biggest and best looking.
Sunfish (and basses) are definitely underrated as aquarium fish. I've had a few here and there, and nothing is as "nice" and entertaining, nor as easy to keep, etc. They really don't have any flaws.
No they don't,they don't even need heat lol.This group has taken a liking to meat in the form of small bits of tilapia and shrimp that I feed to my other fish.
Who, me? I moved my classroom and gave all my fish away, except for my pets which are now in my plant house.
