Hey there just wondering if a pbass at 1.5" will be all right on his own I use to have anther with him until my baby Barra ate him
:( the Barra has been moved to his own tank and the other pbass is on his own in a 6x2x2
Pbass aren't that easy to come by around my area and not sure if I will be able to get another question is will he be OK on his own I know there more a of a pack fish and the 6x2x2 isn't permanent he WILL be going into a 9x4x2 when it's ready
Cheers James

OK well I'm looking for some more friends for him ASAP thanks for the help :)

You can put some community fish or feeder fish in with it if you want. Just know they will be eaten. Thats what i did. I had 4 pristella tetras and 4 black mollies i got from a low end local pet store to help with bio load and provide tank mates. They killed 2 mollies and ate the rest. I fed the community fish cichlid gold.

Silver dollars are a good dither to go in with bass. Just make sure they are a little bigger than the bass to start.

And yes...your bass would love more buddies. THey do better if there is more than 2 to help spread the aggression.
