hi i was wondering if you could build a more of a long ways "pond style tank" so the water would be about 2-3 ft. deep but be about 10 ft long and about 4 ft. wide? could this work? and of course with the correct filter and such and it would be probobly be in like my garage or back room. :naughty: :naughty:
(p.s. it would be a brown banded bamboo shark)

Could You - Sure.

At 10ft long the pond is about 3 times the maximum length of a Brown Banded Bamboo (Chiloscyllium punctatum). And at 4 ft wide the pond is just 20% wider than the shark's maximum length. Even if the water is just 2 ft deep - that would still give you a 600 gallon pond, which would be fine for most of it's life. But if the shark ever reachs it maximum size, this pond would likely seem to be very cramp quarters for it.

If you could go bigger(longer & wider) with pond, then I would suggest doing so. Or another possibility is check into getting a smaller species of Bamboo shark - such as a 30" long Gray Bamboo (Chiloscyllium griseum) or even a 36" White-spotted (Chiloscyllium plagiosum).
