Thats very interesting. Its amazing what they have come to breed through the years. At this rate pretty soon there will be a rtc x golden retriever, long pawed, hairless amphibian hybrid in the local pet stores.
That thing looks sick! And its an oddball. I would love to see an adult. Any one have any more pics?

That doesn't look right for a CL at all! I bet that little guy has trouble swimming with the tail being the way it is....

I like it, it looks elegant! Besides, after reading up, this is a (for now) one off and it DOES NOT, according to the owner,have any problems swimming. It's just a morph, like a short bodied bichir, or albino ?.
