Hybrid king henleixpearl passed away the other day. Was around 8 years old 18" male. Died after a water change. Sad to see him go but looking to move on now. Long live the king

Sorry, was he showing signs of illness or anything? Or was it just out of the blue. I lost 2 breeder males couple yrs ago 2 and 5 days after a water change. showed signs of distress two hours after the change. Never did find out what the cause was. Actually had 2 other females show distress but they pulled through.

He was starting to go a little skinny but he would still pound pellets during feeding. Maybe was sick and didn't catch it but not long after the water change he was gone. Few hours only. Maybe stress got to high maybe tap water was messed up who knows
