Long lived Ich

I noticed on the 29th of January that a few of my fish had developed some white spots. I cranked the temperature up to 86 and added 2 teaspoons of salt per gallon. The Ich got quite a bit worse the first week but then they seemed to be getting better And some fish are now Ich free. There are still some though that have a good amount of Ich on them. Should I just keep up heat and salt treatment? How much longer should I wait?

Keep treatment in at least three weeks and be consistent with your treatment process. The increased temp will help reduce the necessity of extending treatment process.
