Hi fellas, my sister will be vacationing in cali next month. Her home base will be in fresno. I would be needing some help in procuring some nice and very long plastic plants, the ones i see on mfk posts, for my ten foot long cichla tank with about 4.5 feet height. I was thinking to purchase the plants online and just have them delivered to fresno so that my sis can bring them back to manila but i dont have a clue what brands and styles are available. Do you guys have any suggestions On whats available and where to get them? Thanks!

Wow, how cool bro I'm in Fresno, CA as well. Bring some cichla over here haha. However I'm not too familiar or good with plastic plants. The online idea sounds good though.

'Fancy Plants' make some 3ft plants

I just got some this weekend from AC Moore, an arts and crafts store. One of them I cut in half, but was probably just over 4ft, and a couple others just over 2ft...

I think you could also find some at Michael's, another arts and crafts store...

Fresno! I'm located in Fresno as well! Although I'm not too interested in fake plants I have seen some about 3ft+ for sale once or twice at a LFS here in one of their reptile sections. The store is called whities pets also in fresno

Definitely drop by Whities. Located on Shaw and Blackstone. Reptile plants should be good too. I'm not too sure about petsmart because I don't really go there. lol

Just tell your sister to make a trip up north to Sacramento where I hear their fish stores are the best! Haha

Most plastic plants are made in segments that snap together. Have you tried building your own by buying several of the same thing and sticking them together? That would be where I started anyhow. Good luck!
