well after a long search for a payara i finally got the perfect one for me.
its around 6-7'' and seems to have settled in fine so far after acclimation.

Always gotta love the hydros!

Soon youll be wanting an armatus. Imagine your fish with such a bad attitude that when you walk up to the tank he just casually swims to the front, shakes his head and glares his teeth and that is an armatus. Oh and the fact the armatus quit literally grows before your eyes! :nilly:

thanks, shes been eating dead foods at the LFS including mussels and cockles, i will get it on small whitebait.

its a temp thing, the RTG is going and the 180 will be filled with datnoids and the tat and some others stuff i have not bought yet and another small RTG next year.
the front tank wil get more fronts.

thanks and i agree, i kept away from armatus to specifically get a tat for future size and keepability.
