was wondering about longtailed oscars.....how hard are they to come by and is the care different? really wanted to get one but the only online store I can find that has them is AquariumFish and I'm not sure of the store as I've never dealt with them.

any info you can give me would be great
 
availability really varies by area, like where i am you can not find them at all while in some places they have them coming out their ears, i think your best bet would be to go to your lfs and ask if they could order one for you, usually common fish like that they can sell easily so they dont have problems special ordering things like that and then you can see what your buying first GOOD LUCK
 
thanks, ya talked to my LFS and he has a hard time getting them as well. so will have to keep looking

Long term, Oscars are oscars........Long tailed O's are just like any other oscar, just with long tails.......$20.00 for 3-4 inch growout..Albino toooo....http://aquascapeonline.com...........
