Anybody here had any Tetraroge niger (true freshwater leafy stone fish) for a significant amount of time?

I've asked Wes to grab me one or two if they come in, as I've been looking for some for a while now.

Problem is I can't really find any care info for them, and I don't think they're really related to the brackish kind of stone fish, so I don't assume their care (aside from salinity, of course) is necessarily similar.

Think they stay pretty small (probably under 6''?) but can't say for sure.

Would love any info people have, maybe I just googled poorly.

Also, googling is making me think maybe the latin name wes provided is incorrect. Lots of confusion around all this. Dunno.

same here, I've been trying to find info and I cant. I just see one image in google.

came across this... scroll down to the bottom.

name is correct

Interesting, cause I'm also finding a larger, similar, oceanic (or at least reef-dwelling) fish under the same latin name.

I've never had one, but I don't think there aggressive. They will eat anything that fits in their mouth like any other type of stone fish.

Well I've seen the saltwater stone fish and they tend to just stay in one spot then after a while they will probably slowly move somewhere else.

Just to see if there has been any updates in the past few years... did anyone find anything? Ive looked again and again woth no results. Just getting back into the hobby and was wanting one but wes said they are hard to keep and have to be special ordered. Does anyone that ordered one from wes still have theirs alive? Any info would be appreciated.
Thanks
