... first time poster... I think.

:banhim:

Either way, I'm introducing myself.

I've kept aquariums since the age of 10, totaling 17 years of fish keeping. I started with a 1 gallon tank. It had three Zebra Danios and a Chinese algae eater. My dad thought I was getting a fish bowl when I asked permission. My sister and I showed up with a 20-gallon and he sent us back to the store to return everything and get something smaller. He always had trouble with fish, and assumed I would too.

After a long period of community fish and updating to bigger tanks and better systems I eventually graduated to African and South American Cichlidae. My love for fish spread to the outdoors and eventually designed and built a 115-gallon above ground wooden pond. At one point I had over 200 gallons of fish spread across 4 tanks and the pond.

Recently I have had to move several times, and with each move I lose a little water (lol).

I only have a 44-gallon corner tank now and my pond is empty on my patio.

I'm going to be moving again, and I hope to be waste deep into the aquarium lifestyle once I am settled in my final state of choice.

Here are some pictures I dug up:

I may sell the pond, I may take it with me. If I leave it they'll, ironically, consider it trash and fine me for it... :-P
not if someone like one of us was moving in... :D:D:D
