Running about a week now and I still don't see any sign of my big armatus getting his left fang back. Just getting a little concerend because I never saw it take this long.. Maybe he knocked it out before one was ready to replace it?? So it might take a little longer?? Any response will be appreciated.

interesting...
maybe it takes longer for adults like yours to replace it??

No idea!! I would assume not. I mean 13" is no where near adult I wouldn't think.

it just means it was knocked out ahead of schedule. a new one will be ready soon ;)

vamp, so it means age doesnt have anything to do with healing process with these fishes? unlike the arows, the older they get, it's longer for a torn fin or missing scales to grow back? just curious.

thanks.

Yeah, still no sign of a new tooth. I think it is possible though he knocked it out after replacing it about a week prior so it could take a good month I guess.
