Longnose Eating Pellets!

I'm so glad that I don't have to continue to make trips to the LFS for feeders anymore! lol, the rescued Longnose decided to eat anything floating at the top of the tank today. Pellets, krill, and even a cube of brine shrimp (Meant to feed that to the Carapo Knife, lol) So much for, "I've had him for years, and he only eats feeders."
A few shots of him quick; he's about 16". (Sorry for the crappy shots, using a different camera than usual, so they are not very good)

If you want to put some weight on your longnose feed it strips of fish, tilapia or swai cut to about 1/3 it's SL and about the diameter of it's head. It's fun to watch them eat pellets but it sure does take them a while to get it down that long snout of theirs.:)
