How long would a longnose gar last in a 125 gallon tank, I have had him since he was like 4" and he is now about 5-5 1/2", and I was wondering how long could I keep him in there for before he gets to big?

i wouldnt put him in something that big when he is that small. if he is spooked he could crash into the side of the tank and break his back. wait till he is about 10-12" before you put him in the 125g. someone can probably give you better advise but this is my opinion.
