I have a longnose gar and a blue channel catfish in a tank together but I wanted to add another fish and I saw these cool looking golden clown knife and I wanted to pick him up and put him in there would that be a good combo?

what are the sizes? I have seen pictures and heard stories of gars eating CK in community tanks but if the GCK is significantly bigger this probably won't be an issue.
My gar is only about 5" and the clown knife is about the same it would be very very hard for the gar to take the knife down because the knife is almost bigger than than the gar and i was wondering what is the ideal temperature for gars?
