Fly? You mean that fly that flies around? Have you tried crickets? What about feeder fish?
If fly is all your Gar eats, try spiders...if your Gar eats that too then it's certain that your Gar is Count Dracula's emissary.

I would be rather amused (although worried), if it was an alligator gar many feet long that only ate flys lol. Sorry bad humour there.

I personally think it is awesome that you get Gars in Pakistan....
It is really good to know our gar are getting around the world
I frequently feed my gars Crickets so feeding them such foods is never bad. I'd offer it a bit more of a varied diet though if flies are all you are feeding. They will take many other foods live, frozen, and prepared.
