Here's my Barred Midas Charlie all grown up to almost being an adult another 6 months and he will be. He is the meanest fish I have ever owned and has a impatient attitude for food. He bites me all the time and will never let a siphon hose in his tank. Here is at about 10.5" the net is 10"x10" and his tail is curled in the net so I am guessing 10.5". That measuring tape is about an inch wide so I am guessing he's about 4 or 5 inches deep in body.
Hes still got a lot of black on him but it looks like its slowly fading away. I really really hope that my other one stays barred. Good to see another guy who likes amphilophus. I've got about 20 babies (midas, lyonsi, and saggitae) a 13" midas, and a 6" rd.
