Hi, I have three flowerhorn but i think they are all male cuz of the anal shape,
it look like a v shape, this is my first time having them, could anyone give me some tip on breeding them and what kind of other cichlid can i breed them with, just any easy kind of cichlid to give me any ideal how to breed them.

My first pIc He about 5-6 inch
Second and Third PIc is the same fish he about 4-5 Inch
Fourth pic he about 3-4 Inch

I concur, Red devils will breed at 5" and a FH has RD in it.

he is right, these fish still too young for breed. i been breed flowerhorns for years now.

1st, you need to think about quality. Male need to be at least 10" or over a year old to produce healthy fries and high quality.

2nd. young male still too exciting and will attack female fish.

3rd. parents quality. you need to find quality parents which should have large hump. nice color, body shape....as you might thinking about selling those fries to make some profit rite? and first thing people will ask... that could they see some parents photo.
