Look at the driftwood I found in my yard

So I was doing some yard work today. Cleared the weeds in the corner of the yard and lying down in the dirt was this piece of wood. Holy s... this would be great for the tank.
I know you're thinking there is no way that wood was naturally that way.
Well you're right. I throw it out in the yard when we move in and had forgotten about it. Had this yard piece for about 15 yrs.

What kind of wood?? I'm interested in what different kinds of wood I can use in freshwater cause I'd much rather find it.
