look at these babies

I have about 100 baby devilhorns about 1" long, parents are male midas, and female some kind of flowerhorn hybrid I bought just to try to breed with my male, had babies only 2 weeks after I got her. what do you think I can expect from these mutts. Oh, BTW Hi ya'll I just joined this forum today.

Boy that male has a big ole kok on him... they ought to look pretty good, nice and red when they get bigger.

maybe you can get your midas/rd to breed with the escondido (if it is female, of course).

Yea I figuered if nothing else maybe I would get some really red-orange colored devils with some nice KOK, The male actually has had a much larger hump at times, it gets larger and then smaller at times.

I'm guessing they will fade into a midas/red devil looking hybrids.. Hopefully some will get the mothers deeper red colors..

I dont know what the hell that texas is M or FM wise, I have had it with several other male and female fish and it shows no interest in breeding whatsoever, at first I thought it may still be to young but I've had it for 8 months now and is about 6 inches, I've seen texas breed at 2" it is currently in my 125 with 2 BP, 2 KKP, 2 female black cons, 2 female white cons, a male nic, another male cyno texas, and some other fish but nothing.
