Is that even a gator gar? Markings look weird to me. If it's some other type of gar at 18'' if it's not majorly injured it might be worth it for the price of the fish alone, lol.
 
All I have is a 90 ATM ( which would still be better than a 40) but still not big enough for a gar

Gar gar binks? U have got to be joking..... This guy obviously bought a cool fish for all the wrong reasons, yes 50$ is good rescue him, he will be fine in a 90 for now, its not ideal but way better, if I'm correct long nose doesn't come close in size comparison to gator gar.

Once I found 16" fl gar, 15" pleco, 2x 4" rbp in a octagon 45 gallon, went there to buy the rbp ended up buying them all I felt so bad.

I think I'm going to might stop at the other ad with the guy selling the 40 gal octogan with the 15" RTC and the 9" Oscar and save them too!
