I saw a thread here on MFK, just made me wonder how much worse the prices are here in Iceland.
Here is what i have in my fishkeeping hobby and how much i paid, its a fair price here:

125g tank (with lights and cabinet). $943
Rena XP3. $155
Gravel. $10
Fish:
1x Oscar. $20
1x Amphilophus Alfari. $12
1x Pictus catfish. $25
6x Convicts. $4
2x Ancistrus. $20
1x Polypterus Lapradei. $60
= $1249

20g tank. $155
Rena Filstar. $38
Gravel. $5
Fish: (dont worry, growout tank)
Jardini arowana. $93
Polypterus Endlicheri. $62
= $353

So that makes $1602 for my only two tanks, didnt realize how much money i put into the hobby. :WHOA:

What do you think?:naughty:

i could probly set up 3 180's wit tht money lol

wow, 3 180g tanks for that $1600? Here for ONE 180g tank the prices are: For the tank it is $1035, the lights cost $872, and the cabinet is $780.

The 125g was really $940? That's alot, even with the stand and lights...

If it makes you feel better laps are $80 in my local fish store. All the rest are ridiculous, but I buy used anyway it is very expensive to buy big tanks new.

Cammo: Since our currency is very low against the dollar at the moment, you could double those prices, so really the jar cost ~ $200.:screwy:
