In a forum with a rather grim overtone, I thought I'd share this hilarious story that occurred today.
I've had a 55 gallon stand setup for a few days, anticipating the pickup of the tank.
Well, after looking in 5 stores (55's must be a holiday favorite), I finally tracked down my 55.
So, I got the tank on the stand and started putting gravel at the bottom.
I've got a cat that is rather young and in a mischievous state.
She must have been intrigued by the sound of the gravel on the glass,
which was about the time she decided to hop up to see what I was up to.
I looked down JUST in time to see her jump up smack her head on the side of the tank! - and immediately double back onto the ground.
It was something else.. at the point when she hit, she looked as though she 'jumped backwards' - basically like a rewind.
I'll tell ya, those new tanks glass come pristine! Fooled my cat! hahaha.
I started rollin on the floor laughing.
She was okay, just shook it off and dubbed it up to a learning experience I assume.. but man.. where's a video camera when you need one!
