Look What I found In the Assorted Africans Tank!!

Wow I just went to petco and in the assorted African cichlid tank I see a little tiny jaguar cichlid or manguenese I believe that's what it was it looked identical to the one I had just seen at my lfs and it was in a $5 assorted tank for like 1"-2" I believe it was a jag and I'm gonna regret not buying it now 
got some other good deals though 
like two oscars approximately 2.5" in the 1.5" tank and they were bigger than the "large" oscars lol I got an albino and a tiger and now I'm watching the albino and he might be a platinum! 
I'm going to get rid of my turtles and my weak link jack Dempsey so no worries for tank size they will currently go in a 55 until I get my 75 or 120 not sure which one but I saw a 75 at my lfs with stand and hood for $350 while it's $200 for the tank at petsmart. I'm not sure what I'm doing yet

Also got a 3" blue gourami for only $2! And I got a 4" calico? for $2 as they moved it out of the other small calico? tank because it was being bullied and I told the guy that's crazy cheap and he knew it too! And I just checked it's a shubunkin and I'll put him in my friend matts goldfish pond which is like 500 gallons with some fancies and a comet. But ill see how this turns out

this is why you always check the assorted tank. if you get really lucky there's a jumper in there from a 20 dollar tank and the employee doesn't notice!
not sure but looks like he might be male. frequently the spots will completely fade away but it is when he is glassbanging when i am feeding or just watching. not certain yet but a promising sign
on a side note has anyone kept these before. i haven't found almost nothing beyond 5 word sentances regarding their care online and in a reference book for malawi's I flipped through at the fish store
