Yeah so i dont know if this is the right place but here it goes. Went on a trip to check out some not so LFS and i came across this little guy.

A 11-12 inch koi. It was $24.99 and i thought that was an awsome deal might go back and get some more.

What kind is this one and whats the sex? I think its a female but im not sure.

its a koi fish with the mirror carp gene

i looked into it a while ago. my friend has one. and this is the conclusion i came up with lol.

I'm going to say male based on finnage structure, and color/transparency.

$25.00 wasn't really too great of a deal to be honest. I've bought better looking koi of the same size for $15.

But whatever floats your boat.

If its a foot long $25 isn't bad... I had koi for a while but they grow so large so fast... decided to stick with fish that can actually live in a aquarium
