I went out to a LFS, and I found this cute guy! I beleve he is a baby Blue Catfish! I'm not sure what exactly he is, because the fish store's tag said he is a "Blue Channel Catfish". Not sure what kind he is, but he's cute!

Love it!! I might start up a cold water tank. I really like Grass Carp but they probably need a massive tank and theres no way the 540 is gonna be a cold water! 
I'm not sure how channel cats and blues look when young, but i know that when larger you can tell them apart by the straight anal fin on the blue, while the channel has a rounded anal fin. This one appears to have the straight anal fin, which means it could likely be a blue. If it is, good find!

B. Outer margin of anal fin rounded, and anal fin with 24 to 29 rays
Blue Catfish
A. Body without dark spots
B. Outer margin of anal fin straight, and anal fin with 30 to 36 rays

Thanks for the identificaton! I never knew you could tell the difference of a channel catfish and a blue. I haven't been able to tell whether or not he is a blue because he loves his tunnel so much I can't coax him out of it.

Hes gonna get big! I had a channel cat once, got to about 24" before he swallowed a decoration and died. Love catfish.
Turns out his anal fin is rounded. I think that it's still pretty cool that I got a channel catfish though. I can't wait until he gets large, it's going to be a lot of fun raising him.
