We cought this guy walking across the main street the other day. We transfered him over to a pond by our home deep in the woods so hopefully it will be safe.

i really LOVE those common snappers! I also kept one over years and he still grew up to a much larger size than the one on the pics ... but now it is forbidden to keep snappers in Germany - a similar situation as with snakeheads in the US.
I hope one day it will be forbidden to spread rumours about people, animals and philosophies ... an adequate punishment for offenders: They have to hear 24 hours a day a whole year long ...
