Since adding my elliots my gold dust (pyrite) has become increasingly more active. I guess all the fish swimming above him makes him feel safe or maybe he has just decided he is comfy. He now comes out at feeding time and I watched him swim around for about 15 min the other day.

Or maybe he realy likes cheap petsmart cichlid pellets cus he has been downing them like my del was massivore perhaps its growth spurt time.

On a side note my smaller male sen will be leaving my tank in two weeks to go to the local club auction he has become increasingly aggressive with my female and I do not want him to kill her like he did the albino.

My gold dust also discovered my big sens hideing spot and has been chilling with her a lot. While he is still keeping himself a little pale he is very pretty. he is around 5-5.5" and she is about 10-11" but super thick.

Looking good. Gold dust has a nice pattern on it.

How long have you had it? Happy to see it out!
Mine is a little over 2 years old. Always as it's a nice surprise. All I see is my senegalus and palmas polli.

Thanks all I think he is pretty too

Had him almost a year now him and the big sen are becoming fast cuddle buddies since he has been coming out. Would love to get a shot of him flareing and showing off but he is not that braisen yet. He has slowly over the last 4-6 weeks or so started growing a pair I am very excited about it. I have seen him everday for weeks! after 9-10 months of not at all just his eyes shineing back out of caves.... He was even perching on the edge of the driftwood the other night(blue light time so no pics).

Since I am going to move on the smaller sen and probly my electric blue acara (the eliiots are bastards to them) over the next year I want to add a retro, del ,and a moke to the tank. I think the 6Elliots 2 choclates 5 bichirs with a vampire pleco sounds like good stock for me in the end.

I realy hope he thickens up a but the way my del did those patterns on a thicker poly will be stunning.
