My juvie pheno is really starting to 'shine', if you will ;) His colour lately is amazing, so vibrant and metallic. Not the greatest picture of him, but you can see what I'm talking about.

I gave up on buying Africans from the store. I now get all of mine from online breeders, or from friends who got them from online breeders. This guy came from a friend who had an extra male in his group.

Lol thanks fish head ;) This guy actually was purchased in one of my online orders for a friend, as just a 1.5" juvenile. He was one of a group of eight. But things didn't work out for the friend, so I sold off all the others and kept just this one...at the time, I didn't have any particular desire to house a bunch of adult phenos, but figured I'd keep one and see how he turned out. I'm very happy that I kept him! ;)
