hello all! :)

this is my first post since becoming a member. i have recently aquired some monster tanks, a 90, a 120, and a 180. got em at a pretty sweet deal. anyways, i am unhappy with the appearance and build of my 180 stand, so i'm looking to build a new one. if there are any members that have pictures, or have found some plans online or something, it would be a great help. im looking for a classy looking cabinet and canopy system, oak preferred, for a freshwater setup. i look forward to hearing from you, thanks!!!

Compared to most tanks on this site, your 180 is simply a grow-out. Show some pics of the stand so we can analyze it and try to build around it.

Hello, once again.

i have taken some pictures of my newly finshed 90 gal. still trying to get more lighting. hope you like them. i have more on the way. im going to start adding fish in about 2 weeks. i have 2 AquaClear 500 powerfilters, 3 Powerhead 402's, 2 undergravel plates, 1 300 watt underwater heater, 1 SecondNature Challenger III air pump, and 4 flurosecent tubes. the plants aren't real, however, i eventually want to go with real. all the stones are real. on the right side, i have lavastone stacked on top of other lavastone. various other rocks, including plates of slate are spread out. i have all three powerheads hidden by the rocks with the spray of the powerheads blasting tiny water bubbles through the many crevices i have provided for shelter. i have it set up where the right side has very suttle current and the left side the current is a little stronger. i'm still looking for the right background.

well, here are the pictures. only 2mp, so it may be a little blury. ill have more to come as soon i get soon fish. any suggestions , comments, compliments, or criticism would be greatly appreciated. enjoy!

Flow-out, what does that mean? i have been in a 10 drought with aquriums, so i need to get back with the lingo. i just aquired 3 tanks from a family member for a pretty sweet deal. i got a 90 gallon just recently setup, while i also have a 120 (maybe a 110) and 180 gallon tank sitting on a stand that can support the weight of them both with the 180 on top. the tanks and stand are still at my aunts house in her garage.

a little info on the tank until i can provide pictures. heavy steel pipe frame with a wooden shell. the 180 sits on top with a CABINET ON THE SIDE of it, probaly a foot and a half wide. the smaller tank is on the bottom, however a larger tank than the 180 gallon, will fit on the bottom. the stand IS MORE THAN CAPABLE of supporting the weight of the 2 tanks even with a larger tank on bottom and the 180 ontop, offset. ill get the pictures as soon as i can.
