I was looking at getting a pair of breeding angels and i want to hear what the experts say, are these guys hard to breed? What is the minimum tank size for a breeding pair? what should the decor of the tank be? what do i do when the angels have mated?, etc.

I think they're pretty easy. I was growing a group of 5 out on flake food and wound up with 2 pairs, only 1 of which I actually hatched and raised fry from. . . If I had another tank I'd see if the other one is fertile or not. anyway, I raised the fry on frozen baby brine shrimp and ground up flake food and sold the young for 50 cents a piece at dime size. didn't really have to do anything special.

i been breeding angels for over 20+ years. the taller the tank the better. plenty of swimming room and very wide leaf plants real or fake will do and try to put some thing around your intake tube. this will keep parents from laying there eggs on it. this is one of my breeders. i have others but doing special breeding so cant show them yet.
