Hello all im going to look at a 125 gallon tank with a metal stand for 200 dollars. i will try and haggle a lil lower but it has a cracked top rim right were both top braces are they say it holds water should i risk it and can i just buy a new top trim for it what yall think

go look at it in person...you'll be able to make a realistic decision from there...take your camera, and get lots of pix...joedodge;2738234; said:
ok got the tank or 120 lol yes!! it is an all glass aquarium built in 1994, the botom frame is cracked and broke in several spots there appears to be no flaws in the glass i will call aqueon i believe that who all glass is now correct me if i wrong and get the rim and probably cut the silicone out of the inside and redo it for piece of mind and i will paint the top rim black to match the botom i hope all gos well anyone got anya advice
it was 125 gallon all glass i paid 120 dollars for it , as far as i can see it needs a new bottom rim and i thnk im guna resilicone the inside for good measure it is very clean as soon as i find my camera ill get some pics and try and post them and keep updates along the way with the stand build and sump this tank is guna be almost all diy and low budget
