I am looking for ideas on what kinda ray to buy i like the black ones with the light spots they start with an L. Anyway i am looking for sugestions
no offense dude I think you should wait until you get some more information on what you are actually getting yourself into. Rays are awesome but they require a great deal of work and not to mention knowledge. You are doing the right thing in getting information but in order for us to give you good knowledge we need to know what size tank and experience you have... good luck!!!

Leopoldis are black with white spots. I am new to rays, I have 2 motoros. They seem to be relatively easy to keep.

I would like to thank everyine for their input. I am starting with a 75ga tank and i am haveing a ray tank made 2' deep 4 1\2' wide and 10' long (not sure what that comes out to be gallon wise). I have been into fish keeping for about 12 years i just finaly have to money to get into the more interesting fish. I have been reading all I can find on ray (I had never heard of a FW rays till a few mounths ago), I have the complete pet owns guide to FW stingrays and found it to be very halpfull. I am also looking for places to buy, online or local. Thanks again
