I am looking for a 3D background for my 75g. Does anyone have any sites that you have used. I've searched, but I'd rather use a site that someone has used and is happy with the product. Secondly, can they be installed in an established tank? thanks....

Whats the dimension of your tank? I have two sets that measures about 47" x 17.5" or 35'' x 23.5" depending on how you arrange it.

If your tank is (48x18x20) then I think these backgrounds would be perfect, depending how big the top brace is on the tank, you can just slide these in w/o taking down the tank or glue anything.

Email me at mikeoway@yahoo.com if you are interested.

This one is 36" x 24" and had to be cut in half (actually broken because it's harder to see the seam then) to fit. I have a "reef" 65g

The background I got is high density foam and needs to be installed dry (with silicone) and I cannot imagine trying to do it full of water. I have seen the ones that sink, but I wanted this to be a permanent fixture in my tank and be able to hide all mech behind it. I have just ordered an in line heater to make that vision come a little closer :)

Oh i'm sorry my post was for the OP.

The only thing I have to do to install my backgrounds was slip it into the tank. the background floats to the top and the top brace holds it in place. I then move the gravel next to the bottom of the background and it stays in place. No need for silicone, removing all the water, or taking out the fishes.

I'm not saying my background is better, just that the OP wanted something where he can just drop in thats all.
