ok, so i've been doing some reading and some people say that dasyatis sabina can live its entire life happily in freshwater. i'm a little skeptical about that seeing as i don't even like to consider mollies freshwater fish. also, whenever i see them for sale they are wild caught, so im not even sure if there are any breeders out there.

so i was hoping that someone here knew a bit more about them, or could point me in the right direction.

my tank is unfortunately only a 240 8x2x2. i can turn it to brackish or even full salt if need be, but i wanted to gather as much information as i could on these guys before setting up the tank.

I heard if they are kept in full fresh they release so much ammonia that you'd be doing crazy amount of water changes, something over 1000 gallon tank to dilute the waste.. Keeping in salt would be better

Thanks all I know :)
