So i am looking for fish to put in my pond the fish will have to be able to survive in water from 5°C up to 15°C. The pond is 2m/1.5m/1.5m (L/W/D).
I dont want any sunfish..

Sturgeon, An iam pretty sure species of trout would enjoy those temps, try some of the colder climate sturgeon. Iam sure you have invested in a deicer to provide access from air to water for exchange of gases or some sort of air pump.Does anyone you know in iceland have ponds, what do they stock them with? Also what type of fish do you prefer would helpus to help you narrow down your search.

Dont worry about filteration, its good.
I know plenty of people who have ponds here. Up to 80.000 Liters. But all the ponds are stocked with KOI and sturgeons, except for one that is stocked with convicts (heated).

I dont know anything about cold water fish except for koi and sturgeons. I think i dont want a sturgeon in this pond.

A Trout you say, what species (sci name).
Any more suggestions. My lfs has some carps. i was thinking of them maybe.

Any European cyprinids should work, including common carp, tench, orfe/ide, bitterling, chub, roach, dace, common minnow, etc. Sticklebacks would probably also do well.

As far as trout, there are two native species in Iceland: brown trout (Salmo trutta) and Arctic char (Salvelinus alpinus). Either should do well in your pond, though the brown trout get so big you would probably have room for only two or three. You could probably keep a breeding population of char.

If you can get them, North American or east Asian temperate cyprinids, suckers, loaches, or catfish would also work. Just be sure to check legality, and don't stock exotics in your pond if it is connected to any other body of water (even during 100-year-floods).
