I was looking at pictures of aquariums online and came across a picute of a floating plant that looked like a vine plant. it was a broad leaf plant that ran like a vine without hanging roots. I was wondering if the plant experts on here could suggest a live floating plant with broad leaves that dont have the messy dangling roots like water hyacith or any other messy plants like hornwort. i have a goot three inches between tank lids and water surface.

The plant in the video is common Pothos AKA Devils Ivy.I think they need to be planted above the water leval and allowed to hang down into the water. They are not true aquatic plants.

what about rotadindrum(spelling?) i heard you can break off a piece and ot will grow in water

Philodendron? I think some people call Pothos Philodendron They are similar tropical aroids most are climbing vining ect.I have seen people grow cut pothos stems floating in tanks. If the leaves can get above the waters surface they should root and do pretty well with bright light.I also had a friend that had a huge plant draped over a window and hanging into a 125 gallon tank that looked great like your video. It was potted in a hanging basket and grew like crazy and helped filtered the water in his oscar tank. They will not grow only underwater for very long. Happy to help.
