Looking for a florida gar.......

So im looking into getting into the Gar seen in about 3-4 months. I have been doing some research and Lepisosteus platyrhincus
(Florida Gar) seems to be the best to start with. My problem is that somewhere, someone thought Gar were a horrible fish and are now illegal where i live sooooo, im looking for somone that could help me out. Mabe a breeder that mis shipped somthing or what have you just pm me if you can help. Much obliged

I agree that the ban on them is stupid, but trying to get one on here is equally as stupid.

Well theres not really anywhere else to look, if I wait for my friend to get me one ill have to wait till december and really dont want to wait that long BTY how is it stupid to post looking for a fish on a fish forum?
