I just got a 110g, and its almost ready to be stocked, however ill be moving in 8 months again, and dont want to spend much on fish that I will likely give away when I leave. Ill take any preds.
Im in Virginia, and willing to pick up.
I dont get anything that I know I wont beable to find a good home for. I wont be able to "settle down" for a good 14 years. Nothin wrong with caring for a fish and giving it away for free to someon else who will appreciate it as much as I do. I'v probably given away hundreds of dollars of fish to good homes over the years.
Strange how it sometimes works out that way. Usually I only get rid of them if they fight too much and have no more room for solitary confinedment tanks.
Then theres the fact that I have to move every 3 years, but somebody gets a pretty good deal on some pre owned fish.
Catch one. Sunfish are amazing predators, and so are pickerel.
However, DO NOT release when you move. Just because it's wild caught doesn't mean it should be put back, especially after 8 months. It still will need a good home.
