Can someone recommend a good in-line heater. The ones that hook up to the output line of your filter (outside the tank). I really hate the look of the heater inside, besides the one I have is very old and its time for a upgrade.

I've had good luck with the Hydor ETH 300 Watt. I have one on my 220G & one on my 75G.

What size tank, what are the temperature requirements of your fish and what is the average room temperature the tank is located in? These are important questions to help decide which size heater you need.

i got it on my 120 gallon solo! works magnificently!

get it! :nilly:

I need it for my 120. I'd like it to keep it at 80 degrees in fall and winter. Room temp in winter is about 65. I won't need it in spring and summer.
