Looking for a new tank mate

Probably wolf fish. Like mala, lac, etc. except Aimara. Ur tankmates maybe too small for Aimara. Snakeheads are a species only tank.
There's an one species snakehead that'll do with tankmates but I forgot the name. Someone may chime in.

you can try parachanna obscura (african snakeheads)
they max around 22" and have been successfully kept in
community settings. You can also try the other species of
parachanna's; p. africana & p. insignis, but these are rare
& harder to obtain and the fayumensis is a extinct species.
others also had luck with c. pleuropthalma (pleuro snakehead)
and c. aurantimaculata (golden snakehead) just list a few.
as for wolves i would try with a green lac. or red wolf which seems
to be the most commonly kept species in community settings.

Thanks for the input, had a look into the red wolf and it could fit the bill. Would love a snakehead but don't want to risk any of my fish being murdered and it would seem that they can be pretty unpredictable, peacefully for months, even a year then decide to destroy tank mates..
a red wolf won't go well with the fish you have. It'll be stressed and eventually become a meal. If it's a wolf you want then you need to consider a mala, Lacardae, intermedius, microlepes, Australis, brasi if available. Good luck.
