Hey guys hoping you could help me out with giving me some reccomendations for adding a fish to my tank. I have a 6 foot long 150g that is currently home to a 10" Oscar, 9" Lima Shovelnose, 8" Tire Track eel and 5" Green Terror. There is also a 4" Firemouth but he is out of the tank right now because he cross bred with a beautiful male convict I had. I am looking to add maybe one more fish but the oscar is really a bit of a pushover a convict half his size would pick on him,so im looking for something a little less aggresive. I do like jags but that may overstock me and he will probably kill the oscar. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Looking for a top dweller? another bottom dweller? You can go for some Severums they get real nice looking at a good size. for the bottom I'd suggest some Polys but your shovelnose will probably make a nice snack out of those. surprised he hasn't with the tire track eel yet! Festivums are also a pretty cool route to go.

Im looking for something more towards the top of the tank. The bottoms already kind of full with the lima and tire track eel. I do like the looks of serverums they may be a cool addition what colors tend to be the best looing in serverums? What about a pike chiclid i really like Lenticulata pikes but am wondering if they are overly aggresive?

From my experience Pike cichla tend to be pretty aggressive and if you get one to small that shovelnose will eat him like a piece of spaghetti. Honestly the best looking severum is the one that appeals to you the most :p i honestly like green and reds the best

Thanks for the info I do like the look of the reds. Dovii's are devils never seen a laid back one maybe they exist but ive never seen one lol. The Lima is surprisingly not even remotley interested in eating live food. Ive tried nightcrawlers and there were even little firemouth fry in there he wouldnt touch either of them. He seems to only eat the hikari sinking pellets even leaves my 4 bleeding heart tetras alone.
