Whats up MFKER,

Title says it all i guess. My fiance has been saying how much she wants another lungfish but i know how they are and dont wanna put my other fish in harm. I love aros but my biggest tank is a 150 which wont be up for about 4 more months till after the wedding and that will be too small for an aro i know that. My current stock is

9 inch redhead cichlid
6 inch redhead cichlid
7 inch venny pike
5 inch redtail cuda
7 inch red devil
5 inch red wolf fish
Now the plan was to keep this as my stock for the 150 but it wont last in the 75 gallon till then. Now i wasnt sure if the stock wouild last because of the aggression but all the fish are fine. I figure i would dump a redhead and the devil and add a oddball. I've had ck, lungfish, mala wolfs, aros, a fire eel. What could i buy not that would grow out in then next few months and work. I was thinkning about a water cow, and another lung but he lung needs its own tank. What do you guys think. I dont know everyfish out there and maybe you guys could give a good idea or two.

Get a South American lungfish. They're totally harmless to everything. I've kept my two with small fish, slow fish, etc and never had a problem.

yea but dont they get huge. How will it do in a 75 and then a 150. They usually cost a lil more too

they cost $100-200 normally. they reach a max of 4' long, usually only 3' in aquariums. as long as the fish has enough room to lay its entire body out itll be fine

you could also do a freshwater lionfish (maybe) if its the only bottom dweller or the other bottom dwellers are small and tough.

or a couple of african knifes, but you must add them to a tank at the exact same time or there will be trouble.

or a large group of ropefish, around 10-15 would be awesome
