Looking for a plant!

Ok so I am looking for a plant... I want something green and I want it to grow low and bushy... I want something that has a different sort of leaf structure than the common sword also. Not really sure what it is but I was hoping that you guys could make some suggestions. Thanks

Yo, i would try the anubias (or however you spell it), dwarf mondo (not true aquatic but i have a friend who has healthy ones even after 2 months), corkscrew val's (short), or even moss balls?

Marsilea has a different leaf shape and stays short. Mine was slow to settle in but it's growing well now. Of course, it's growing away from the area I wanted to cover.

My corkscrew Valisneria alway grew more than 12" tall.
