Does anyone know of someone who has a breeding pair of pure Haplochromis latifasciatus? I am trying to hunt down some fry for future breeding project. It looks like its up to us to keep this fish from going the way of the dodo bird...

Let me know if you find any, even if we can just get a few pairs, the hard part will be diversity in the blood lines. It may be too late...
Yes it does go by that common names sometimes but I would venture a bet yours was a more common Astatotilapia Latifasciata or one of the other 2-3 species that get tagged with that common name.
