Looking for a Synodontis ID

Ok so this cat has been up at the LFS near for bout a month now. No ID just Lrge Synodontis (30.00).
I talked them down to (15.00) for it, but still no clue on what syno it is, I no its not a Synodontis eupterus.
so Im hoping that someone here knows. Ill try an add better pics to, these were just on the fly while i was putting him in.

Its not a schoutedeni, it doesnt have blue eyes, the patterns not right and the body is not broad enough.

I'd like to know where you read that S.schoutedeni must have "blue eyes"?
