Just added a 3-4" P. Loisellei, it was waited about 12 second before lip locking with my 6-7 Wild Devil with massive toothy lips. Everything is fine, the Devil just loves it's log. But whats the best way to heal up a little fleshy face wound. It's not that bad but I prefer to not use Mela o Pima when I can. I did a 40% WC prior to acclimating my the new fish, and Added a little salt. Does that vitachem stuff work? It's been hours since the first spat and no issues. I would wonder if ones male/female =(

I typically use the clean water/salt approach for most wounds. Usually nothing more, but if it's bad enough to need more attention, i'll do the same but with the fish in an iso tank. Doesn't sound like that approach would work here though lol.

Thanks, that's pretty much what I've done. It's not that bad, but some folks here have great advice sometimes, so it's always worth asking.
