I know a few years ago I've seen albino RES's going for around $100.... but now that I actually WANT a turtle I can't seem to find any... and the few I've seen are outrageous prices.
Anyone know any good turtle breeders that have albino red ear sliders? Or anyone looking to rehome an adult?
I'm not really picky on the age of the turtle (though, babies are ALWAYS cute.) but I really would like to add an albino RES to my reptile collection.

I can't say I know anyone who breeds them. Have you checked out to see if any reptile shows are coming to your area? You might get lucky and find one there. Personally, I would love to get a hold of a 2 headed slider! :D

Color morphs (I in this case lack therof) are one thing... severe deformities just aren't something I'm into.
Like eyeless turtles... there's some website I stumbled accross where they're actually breeding eyeless turtles for sale as pets..... it's just screwed up.
