I could have sworn I saw the link to it on this forum, but I can't seem to find it. I know the thread exists on a different forum, but I'm hoping someone can help me locate it.

Basically, there was a guy (I think in Florida) that was building a massive concrete pond in his backyard. I believe it was referenced as "lake" something. He had put in viewing windows and stairs for his dog to use, in case he ever felt like swimming. He also seemed to have it sectioned out and I believe the total gallons was something over 35,000.

I watched this thread a long time back and was curious to see where it was now, but I can't seem to find it anymore. :(

hmmm. I think the member your talking about is porta(something) i'll try have a look for you

There is a guy in Miami that is building something like this to keep sharks in. Could that be it? And 35,000 gallons really isn't a lake, it is still a small pond. I call mine a 'cement pond' because that is what they called their swimming pool on the Beverly Hillbillies.
